McGovern's charges no room fees but does require a $500.00 food and beverage minimum purchase. Menu selections and food/beverage prices may be subject to change but will be confirmed two weeks prior to your reservation.
One guest check for food and beverage will be provided if the party is partially or fully hosted. We do not provide separate food and beverage tabs. The guest check will automatically include 7.625% food sales tax, 10.125% liquor sales tax and we will calculate 18% gratuity for your convenience, but additional gratuity is always appreciated.
Due to our close proximity to the Xcel Energy Center, reservations for private space are booked on a tentative basis, with confirmation two months prior to the requested date. If you need to cancel a reservation, we ask that you do so as soon as possible but at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date. We reserve the right to amend any reservation, such as space booked and scheduled times, based on major events that are scheduled at the Xcel Center after the party is booked and based on any unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control.
The person booking the reservation will be the primary contact person throughout the planning process unless we are informed otherwise. We do not ask for credit card information in advance but do require the name of the person who will be responsible for payment of any hosted portion of the tab. Multiple credit card payments must be approved in advance. The person providing the credit card must be present to sign the voucher at the end of the function. Any exceptions to this must be approved by McGovern's in advance. We require full payment at the end of the function and do not offer billing services. We do not accept checks but welcome cash, American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
Persons booking the reservation are responsible for any damages that may occur to the property of McGovern's. In the event that damages do occur, a credit card will be held until payment of damaged property is recovered and legal action may be taken.
